Everton defender Seamus Coleman has been allowed to extend his loan deal at Blackpool until the end of the current campaign. The 21-year-old right-back has impressed manager Ian Holloway since arriving on loan at Bloomfield Road last month and is pleased to have prolonged his stay, although Everton have inserted a 24-hour recall into the deal.Coleman told Blackpool's official website: "I was delighted when the gaffer told me Everton had said I was OK to stay until the end of the season."It gives me the chance to play some more games and we have something to play for so it should be good hopefully."Obviously if Everton wanted me back I would have gone back but I am happy to stay with Blackpool and we have something to play for which is great for me and the rest of the lads."
