Samba tells Rovers to keep focus

Rovers have improved considerably since Sam Allardyce was appointed as manager but they remain in the drop zone. The bottom half of the Premier League table is still very congested, with Rovers just six points behind 11th-placed Bolton.Samba realises the situation could change very quickly but he does not think Blackburn can rely on others to drop points."It is pretty tight at the moment, since last week the other results have not been in our favour," the defender told the club's official website."But we have to concentrate on ourselves, we have a game in hand and we have to get something out of this game."The league is really tight, just one win can take you five places up the table. We just have to concentrate now and the Fulham game will be a very important game for us."Blackburn's clash with Fulham was initially scheduled to take place in January but a frozen pitch at Craven Cottage forced it to be postponed. The sides will now look horns on Wednesday and Samba is looking to pick up three points. He said: "It is our game in hand and we hope we concentrate and that we go there with real hunger."We have one week to get ready for the game at Fulham, we have to do the right things and we will get out of the bottom three."I think it will be a hard finish, we will do everything we can to get out. "I think four or five wins will be enough for us and I am confident we can get them." Prem Relegation 2008/09 Win Outright: Blackburn 9/2
