Cherries: Howe wants players to continue dealing with the pressure

BOSS Eddie Howe believes dealing with the weight of expectation will be key as his team continue to chase promotion. Cherries will be aiming to consolidate their position in the top three when they host Hereford United tonight (7.45pm). Howe highlighted as a key factor Cherries' ability to handle the pressure of the run-in. Previewing the visit of the Bulls, he said: Our home form has been good and we go into the game with real confidence on the back of how we have played at Dean Court lately. It won't be easy Hereford have got nothing to play for and are under no pressure and they can come and play. They are dangerous games, everyone will expect us to win these two games and that in itself brings added pressure. But we have learned to cope with that pretty well at home and we need to do so again. Howe confirmed Shaun Cooper (Achilles) would miss out, while Ryan Garry (hip flexor) is rated doubtful and will be assessed prior to kick-off. The Cherries boss is hopeful other players nursing knocks will recover in time.
