Mole makes Raith loan move

Hearts striker Jamie Mole has joined Irn-Bru First Division side Raith Rovers on loan until the end of the season. The 21-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular place in the squad after enduring a season marred by injury. He now hopes to earn some much-needed first team football over the coming weeks when he joins forces with former Jambos coach John McGlynn at the Active Nation Scottish Cup semi-finalists.Boss Jim Jefferies told Hearts News: "Jamie's gone out on loan to Raith."He has a chance to get some games under his belt and I'm sure the move will benefit him."Mole, who has made just seven appearances for Hearts this season, opted for Raith after rejecting the chance of a similar move to Morton on Friday with club-mate David Witteveen."I think the Raith move suited him better," Jefferies added."He knows a few of the folk there and has obviously worked with John McGlynn before."
