Clarets boss lays down the law

urnley boss Brian Laws has demanded to see some "fighting spirit" from his players in the closing weeks of the campaign. The Clarets' first season in the Premier League looks increasingly likely to end in relegation following an embarrassing 6-1 thrashing by Manchester City at the weekend. They now have just five games remaining to save their top-flight status but, with a trip to fellow strugglers Hull next week, Laws is not giving up.Laws said: "It's about getting that fighting spirit back in us. I want to see some tackles flying in for goodness sake."I wish I had put my boots on (on Saturday) because I would have been kicking a few backsides, that's for sure!"
