We continue our countdown to South Africa with a look at Manchester United's Korea Republic midfielder Park Ji-Sung. Name: Park Ji-Sung Age: 29 Club: Manchester United International caps: 85 International goals: 11 Park started his senior career in Japan, before signing for Dutch side PSV Eindhoven in 2003. Guus Hiddink was the manager of PSV at the time, and had built a relationship with Park during his time as South Korean national coach, taking in the 2002 World Cup finals. Park was a first-team regular at PSV and played his part in taking the side to the semi-finals of the Champions League in 2005. He scored in the first leg victory over AC Milan, but his team were knocked at the San Siro. Manchester United paid £4 million to take him to Old Trafford soon after that defeat, where his reputation has continued to grow. Park became the first Asian player to feature in a Champions League final last May against Barcelona, and has collected three Premier League winners' medals and counting at United.
