Cherries: Bradbury's the biggest injury worry

BOSS Eddie Howe could be facing another defensive injury crisis as Cherries count the cost of a punishing Easter schedule. Howe is sweating on the fitness of Lee Bradbury, Ryan Garry and Shaun Cooper after the trio were all added to the Cherries casualty list. Bradbury appears to be Howe's main concern after sustaining ankle ligament damage when he fell awkwardly during the 0-0 draw at Rochdale on Monday. The experienced campaigner was forced off just before half-time and is likely to be sidelined for a period of time, according to Howe. Bradbury, who has missed only two games this season, looks certain to sit out Cherries' trip to Lincoln City on Saturday and could also be a doubt for the visit of Hereford United three days later. Howe told the Daily Echo: At the moment, we don't know for exactly how long Bradders is going to be out and his absence leaves us with not too many options at right-back. He has done a really good job this season. He has been very consistent and has made the position his own. It is a big blow to lose him but, like we have with other players many times this season, we will have to cope and try to find a solution. Garry, who was troubled by a calf injury at the end of last month, is also a doubt for the trip to Sincil Bank after a hip problem saw him substituted during the second half at Rochdale. Howe added: Prior to the Brad-ford game, Ryan hadn't trained for a fortnight and we knew two games in three days would be a big ask for him so he did well to get through the time he did. Cooper, who succumbed to an Achilles problem during the first half against Bradford, was last night due to have a precautionary scan to ascertain the full extent of his injury. Meanwhile, Cherries fielded their youth team in yesterday's Combination clash against a strong Swansea City outfit at Dean Court and went down 4-0. Matthew Collins netted two penalties for the Swans, while Lee Trundle and Besian Idrizaj were also on target. Cherries: Thomas, Strugnell, Holmes, Oldring, Stephenson, Hill, Green, Magookin, Stockley (Bell, 85), Kemble (Parsons, 75), Hester. Unused sub: Strong.
