Going Greek? Rovers boss Sam AllardyceBlackburn have taken Greek under-21 star Anestis Argiriou on trial after being told he can join on a free transfer. Argiriou, 22, plays in midfield for Greek Super League strugglers Panthrakikos and Rovers boss Sam Allardyce wants to know if he could star in the Premier League.Olympiakos have offered Morten Gamst Pedersen £25,000-a-week tax-free plus a substantial signing on fee to head to Greece when his Blackburn contract ends in June. The Greek side have been on Pedersen's trail for the past 18 months and are determined to grab him as a free agent.But Blackburn are still hopeful he will sign a new deal at Ewood Park despite their inability to match the wages on offer at Olympiakos.Pedersen is also wanted by Turkish side Fenerbache and Italian clubs Palermo and Fiorentina.
