Manuel Almunia: Arsene Wenger trusts in youth future

Manuel Almunia expects Arsene Wenger to stay true to his project of youth development despite Arsenal's mauling at the hands of Barcelona. The goalkeeper believes his boss will continue to show faith in the team, even though their sobering European exit is likely to trigger a clamour for new signings to support the young talent at the Emirates. 'The boss has been always positive,' said Almunia. Growing pains: 'Keeper Almunia, one of Arsenal's elder statesman, feels the pain of the club's emphatic Champions League defeat to Barcelona at the Nou Camp'He is always believing in us, and whatever happens he was there with us. We appreciate this support from him and I think he will continue supporting us and believing in our work.' 'At least we are in the Premier League, fighting for the top,' added the keeper.  Arsenal's beaten men vow to bounce back from their mauling at the hands of Lionel MessiWenger admits he must strengthen squad after crashing out of EuropeLEO'S LONDON: Arsene Wenger has to be applauded - despite Arsenal's battering in BarcelonaARSENAL FC
