Swansea 1 Charlton 1: Hudson eyes survival after holding hosts

Mark Hudson believes rock-bottom Charlton are finally looking up after earning a precious point. The Charlton skipper marshalled a defensive display which suggested their relegation is not a forgone conclusion - even though they are 10 points adrift from safety. Hudson, 26, said: 'We are three games unbeaten and we have belief we can get out of this. There are two big home games coming up against Doncaster and Watford. We must win them. Sweet strike: Nick Bailey's equaliser earned the visitors a precious point'There have been a few changes here this season with a new manager and a few players coming in and out. But we now have the same team week in, week out and there's real belief. 'It's a massive club and we are fighting as hard as we can to turn it around. Nobody wants to go down. There's a long way to go and we are not giving up.' Nathan Dyer's 42nd-minute strike was cancelled out by Nicky Bailey - 10 minutes after half-time - courtesy of a deflection off Alan Tate. Stuck in: Leon Britton battles to win the ball off of Chris Dickson (R)And Bailey was left cursing his luck after his free-kick rattled the crossbar late on to deny the visitors a first away win since September. Swansea defender Ashley Williams admitted his side blew a golden chance to break into the top six. He said: 'We don't look at draws at home against any side as a welcome point.'
