Young feeling the pressure

uke Young believes it is essential for Aston Villa to return to winning ways against Stoke on Sunday. Villa crashed out of Europe on Thursday evening as they lost 2-0 to CSKA Moscow in the second leg of their Uefa Cup tie.Martin O'Neill's men can now focus solely on trying to secure UEFA Champions League qualification for next season, having also exited the FA Cup earlier this month.Villa are six points ahead of Arsenal in the Premier League with 12 games remaining and Young is relishing the challenge of fighting for fourth place."There is pressure on us now - but there has been ever since we were fourth and fifth," Young told the Express & Star."Every game there is pressure to win because the top teams win week in, week out and that is what we need to do to stay with them."It is pleasing that the games are coming quickly again and it is important to stop the rot."Young was made captain for the clash with CSKA as O'Neill decided not to take several of his key players to Russia. The 29-year-old was proud to wear the armband, adding: "It was surprising."I didn't know I was going to play but it was pleasing to me. I really enjoyed it even though there were five, six or seven contenders back home."
