Gareth Bale included in Chris Coleman's Wales squad for Euro 2016 qualifiers

Gareth Bale has been named in Wales' squad for their crucial Euro 2016 qualifiers against Cyprus and Israel after suffering a fitness scare. Spanish newspaper Marca reported the Real Madrid forward needed a scan on a painful toe following Sunday's goalless Primera Division draw at Sporting Gijon.But an X-ray revealed only bruising and Wales' talisman Bale, who has scored five goals in the qualifying campaign, takes his place in Chris Coleman's 23-strong squad.Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen, suspended for the trip to Cyprus on September 3, also misses the Israel game in Cardiff three days later with a hamstring injury.Defenders Ben Davies and James Collins are both recalled after missing the 1-0 victory over Belgium in June through injury.Uncapped Liverpool youngster Jordan Williams, currently on loan at Swindon, is included for the first time.Unbeaten Wales top Group B with 14 points from six games and victories over Cyprus and Israel would see them qualify for a major tournament for the first time in 58 years.Wales squad: Hennessey (Crystal Palace), Fon Williams (Inverness), Ward (Liverpool); A Williams (Swansea, capt), Chester (West Brom), Gunter (Reading), Taylor (Swansea), Davies (Tottenham), Collins (West Ham), Henley (Blackburn), Richards (Fulham); Ledley (Crystal Palace), Ramsey (Arsenal), J Williams (Liverpool), King (Leicester), Edwards (Wolves), MacDonald (Bournemouth), Cotterill (Birmingham); Robson-Kanu (Reading), Lawrence (Leicester), Bale (Real Madrid), Church (MK Dons), Vokes (Burnley).
