Salomon Kalou 'dreams' of playing for Arsene Wenger and Arsenal

Kalou also hailed Arsenal's "beautiful" football and said that Chelsea's main London rivals were achieving "huge things".Kalou cost Chelsea £8million from Feyenoord in 2006, but his contract expires at the end of next season and he admits that he does not expect to resolve his long-term future until the summer. Arsenal manager Wenger is a known admirer and inquired after Kalou's availability last summer when Luiz Felipe Scolari blocked any possible move."Arsene Wenger said he thought of signing me? That's an honour for me, an honour because he is a very great coach," said Kalou. "I know that every single player in the world dreams of playing for Arsene Wenger. I have a lot of respect for him, he is one of the best coaches in the world so why not?"I am still under contract with Chelsea, but of course I have plenty of friends who play for Arsenal: Kolo Toure, Emmanuel Eboue and Emmanuel Adebayor. They are achieving huge things at Arsenal and watching them play is just beautiful."Kalou, an Ivory Coast international, started both games under new manager Guus Hiddink, 1-0 wins against Aston Villa and Juventus, but has been used as a substitute in more than 50 matches during his three seasons at Chelsea."You are never guaranteed to be in the Chelsea starting eleven because every single player fights to earn his place, including me, and the coach is the one that has the final word," Kalou said."At the present time I'm happy at Chelsea and I hope that the things that I want to happen will happen. I will think of my future once the season is over."
