Spireites move for Montrose

Chesterfield have taken Wigan midfielder Lewis Montrose on loan until the end of the season. The 20-year-old has made two appearances for the Latics in his short career but is yet to feature for Steve Bruce's side this term.He has enjoyed two separate spells at Cheltenham this season, though, with valuable first-team experience picked up during his time with the Robins.He is now set to try his luck in League Two and is expected to go straight into the Spireites' squad for their weekend clash with Barnet."I am pleased to be joining Chesterfield and am looking forward to playing my part in getting the side into the play-offs by the end of the season," Montrose told the club's official website.
