Nelson wants more in wins column

A last-gasp 1-0 victory in midweek, courtesy of Ben Clark's penalty, saw Pools end a run of seven games without a win.Skipper Nelson was delighted with the way his side dug in for the win and told the Hartlepool Mail: "For us to do that, it shows we have got that grit and determination."It was nothing flash. We didn't create much and never looked like we were going to run away with the game."But that's one of the best ways to win when you dig in and all the lads play well, even the ones who come off the bench."Sometimes it feels better to grind one out. It's been a long wait for a win and hopefully that can be a bit of a turning point for us."
