Beye sets comeback date

ewcastle defender Habib Beye has revealed that he is targeting the Arsenal game on March 21st as a possible comeback date. The 31-year-old has been out of action ever since a challenge with Wigan midfielder Lee Cattermole shattered his ankle on Boxing Day.The former Middlesbrough youngster is yet to offer an apology for the incident but the Senegal international is only focused on a return to action. The ex-Marseille man has become a fans' favourite since signing in August 2007 and his return will come at a vital stage in the season with the club hopeful his comeback will act as a boost for the relegation fighting Magpies."We have talked about Chelsea on April 4th," he told The Chronicle."But I would like to think I could be back in the team for the Arsenal game. I was determined to play again this season."On Boxing Day, they thought four months, now I am one month ahead. If I am back by the end of March there will be six or seven games to play."That wouldn't be bad."
