Duke extends Tigers stay

Hull City have handed a new contract to goalkeeper Matt Duke. The 31-year-old has agreed a one-year extension to his current deal which will now keep him at the club until 2011.Duke, who has been at Hull for five years, has recently won the No.1 spot ahead of Boaz Myhill and has played in their last four Premier League matches."I've worked hard over the years and I'm just glad to have been given the chance," said Duke. "People call the Premier League the best in the world and this is where I want to be. The aim now is to stay in the team."I'm delighted and was more than happy to sign the new contract."It is something that has been in the pipeline since the Newcastle FA Cup games and things progressed after the West Ham game."
