Quinn - Survival is key

iall Quinn says this season's aim is for Sunderland to stay in the Premier League before kicking on again. The Sunderland chairman set out a five-year vision for the club when the Drumaville consortium launched their successful takeover in 2006.In the two completed seasons since, the club reached and stayed in the Premier League under the leadership of influential former manager Roy Keane. The Irishman then made a shock departure last December and Ricky Sbragia is now at the helm, with Quinn of the belief he is doing a good job at leading the Black Cats to safety. If the club can again survive in the top flight, Quinn is then looking for Sunderland to make progress in the future.KeyAnswering fans' questions on SAFC TV, he said: "To stay up this year is key and we won't look much further."To stay up would be good - two solid years [in the Premier League] and then you are ready to go again."We will look to dress it up in the summer and kick on again."Two fifths of the journey is done. I don't know what the end goal is."The club are making waves, but it's the toughest league in the world. We are starting to build something here and Ricky is very important to that."His coaching is very good, we are playing really good football. We just need a bit of strengthening here and there."
