Brian Laws distances club from Clarke Carlisle's comments about Burnley fans

Forty arrests were made by Lancashire police as a result of the violence, prompting Carlisle to condemn the "barbaric behaviour" on his personal blog. Carlisle openly criticised the Burnley supporters by writing: "What on earth possesses a man to rip up seats of his own stadium and throw them at someone?
