Hart not looking to future

Paul Hart has insisted he is focused only on helping Portsmouth on a game-by-game basis. Hart was placed in caretaker charge at Fratton Park following the sacking of Tony Adams earlier this month and he has enjoyed a fine start to his reign.Pompey turned in a fine performance to beat Manchester City 2-0 last week and on Saturday they snatched a 2-2 draw at Stoke.Former England and Manchester City manager Sven Goran Eriksson and ex-Pompey director of football Avram Grant have both been linked with the club.If Hart continues to impress he could make a case for a permanent role but he maintains he is not considering such a prospect.Hart, who was promoted from his position as director of youth operations, said: "I'm contracted to the club so I've been asked to step into the breach and that is my role at the moment."All we are doing is preparing game to game and that is as far as I'm looking."
