Up To Four Weeks Out For Rooney

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has sprained his ankle and will miss two to four weeks. Rooney limped off at the end of United’s 2-1 defeat to Bayern Munich sparking fears about ligament damage meaning he could have missed the World Cup. But it turns out that the 24 year old will miss Manchester United’s upcoming games against Premier League rivals Chelsea and the Champions League home leg against Bayern Munich at the very least. He could also be missing for their away trips to Blackburn and Manchester City.
