No fear for Carew

Aston Villa striker John Carew claims that his side are not scared of Chelsea ahead of their crunch clash on Saturday. Martin O'Neill's side currently sit third in the Premier League, two points ahead of the West London club. The Norwegian striker says that Villa are not worried about the threat posed by Guus Hiddink's star-studded team."There's a reason why we are two points ahead of them - we've been better and I think we are going to show that in this game," Carew said."Why should we be worried? It's a good way into the season and we've taken a lot of points."Team"They've taken a lot too but we have two more. It's not always about the stars, it's about the team."We know it will be a tough game. We're looking forward to it and we're confident."We can't worry about what manager they have or what has been happening at the club lately. We have to look at the table and see how we've been playing."Villa and Chelsea last met each other at Stamford Bridge in October, with the home side recording a comfortable 2-0 victory. But Carew says his side will have learned from their mistakes in that match."That happens in football. You have a bad day. But in the long-term, we've been the better team," he added."We are chasing a Champions League place and I am proud to be a part of it."
