MacPherson felt Combe should have walked for his first-half tackle on Craig Dargo, which gave the home side a penalty in their first game at their new St Mirren Park ground.Jim Hamilton missed the spot-kick but it was the challenge - for which Combe was booked - that most concerned MacPherson. He said: "I've seen the pictures again and it's an easy decision but, yet again, we don't see the right decision."I don't know what the referee's angle is."It's not because it's a goalscoring opportunity - he's going away from the goal - it's the nature of the challenge."The challenge comes in at Craig Dargo's knee with no intent to play the ball, so it's a clear red card."Any other area of the park, you'd be expecting a straight red card."MacPherson admitted he feared for his side after Hamilton's miss, saying: "You don't get a better opportunity than a penalty and when we don't take it, you can see the heads go down for a little spell after that."But he insisted his side merited their late leveller."I would've been disappointed if we hadn't taken anything from the game," he said."For long periods, we were in control, created lots of good opportunities and didn't take them."We were pushing me forward, we were taking chances, and thankfully we got that equaliser."
