Flood's Bhoys dream placed on hold

The 23-year-old Irishman is in the middle of his second season-long loan from Cardiff, and his contract with the Welsh club expires in the summer.Celtic are reported to have been in contact with his agent about a move to Parkhead - and while Flood made his ambitions clear, he insists he is focused on Wednesday's semi-final of the Co-operative Insurance Cup at Hampden. He said: "If it happens, it's fair to say it would be a dream move for me."Celtic are a huge club, and it is every player's ambition to play at the highest level."But as long as I'm a Dundee United player I'll be giving 100% for Craig Levein and the boys."It's a huge game for the club in midweek - and we're desperate to get back to Hampden, after losing in last season's final to Rangers."Flood is waiting on updates about his future."It's business as usual for me, unless I hear otherwise," he reports."The manager has asked me about the situation. But all I can tell him is that I know as much as he does at the moment."
