Calderwood happy at Pittodrie

Dons boss Calderwood, who began his managerial career in Holland, has been linked with a return there with FC Utrecht, while there are also reports he is a candidate for the vacancy at Norwich. After a poor start to the season, which saw some fans calling for his head, Calderwood has masterminded a revival which has taken Aberdeen up to third place in the Scottish Premier League.Sunday's thrilling victory over Celtic put the 53-year-old firmly in the shop window but he told the Daily Record: "I haven't heard anything officially from Norwich nor from Utrecht but I must admit I have had a few phone calls about the post at the Dutch club."People have been in touch regarding the manager's position but I don't know if they are officially connected to the club. There's certainly no point reacting to something that might not be there and if anything does materialise I will deal with it."It's great and flattering to be connected with two good clubs as it shows we are doing something right at Aberdeen but this is a fabulous club as well. You never know what might happen but it would have to be something special for me to leave Aberdeen."I definitely have had a desire to manage in England at some stage but you have to be offered the chance to go there and it doesn't happen for everyone."I played in England for 10 years but that was a long time ago and all the stadiums have changed so it would be nice to go there once I've achieved all I want at Aberdeen."There are still plenty of objectives I want to fulfil here after the win against Celtic on Sunday."
