De Visscher heads back to Holland

The 27-year-old returns to his homeland after being given permission to leave Pittodrie by Dons boss Jimmy Calderwood.De Visscher, whose contract was due to run out at the end of the season, joined Aberdeen in the summer of 2007.Speaking earlier this week to his club's official website: Calderwood said: "He was disappointed that he wasn't getting first-team football."He is a great player, but I think the way the game goes in Scotland doesn't suit his style of play."He is more suited to a 4-3-3 formation and that doesn't happen so much over here."
