Bees boss baffled by penalty miss

The struggling Bees should have claimed a point after being awarded the spot kick late on, but Leary's tame attempt was easily saved by Exeter's Paul Jones, much to the annoyance of Hendon."Why Michael Leary has decided to take it, I have no idea," Hendon fumed. "To say I am disappointed is an understatement because we have a named penalty taker. That is something we will have to sort out."There was not much in the game, John O'Flynn has headed just wide of the post and 30 seconds later, their fellow has hit a shot from 40 yards and no goalkeeper is going to save it."That's football, that's how it goes sometimes. Our goalkeeper hadn't had a save to make."In the second half they scored a goal which we could have maybe defended better and I said to the lads not to be disappointed with their performance. I am bitterly disappointed because the lads have given their lot, but there were a lot of positives to take from the game."
