Stimson targets Gills Easter cheer

The relegation-threatened Gills are now unbeaten in four League One games after coming from behind to draw 2-2 with the MK Dons on Saturday, despite Dennis Oli's sending off in the first half. The Kent club travel to fellow strugglers Oldham on Saturday before hosting another struggling side Southend on Easter Monday and Stimson has set his sights on six points to move further away from the drop zone.He told the club's official website: "There are some great games coming up now, none more important than the two Easter matches which are both against teams who, like ourselves, are at the wrong end of the table."I think we've shown all the right qualities in the last few matches and we'll need them in those two games. Over the last three or four games we've seen this desire come in."There are a few players that have got back into the team and you can see that they love this type of challenge and that's rubbing off on other players. We'd like a couple of wins now to ease the tension but if it goes to the wire, it goes to the wire."
