Tate hits out at Swansea boo boys

The Swans are without a win in their last five Championship games but they are fifth in the table with six games remaining and will be optimistic of securing a play-off place.Ipswich boss Roy Keane was baffled by the reaction of some Swansea fans at the end of the game and defender Tate echoed the former Manchester United midfielder's sentiments."Booing at the end is a bit ridiculous considering if you look at where Darlington are now (bottom of League Two)." Tate told the South Wales Evening Post."We were Darlington seven years ago. People need to realise we've come a long way and not think we automatically deserve to be up here, because we don't."It's no good moaning because I haven't seen many teams who have come here and thought 'we'll give these a good game by passing it and trying to win the game'. I don't think anyone's come here, apart from Middlesbrough, early in the season and thought we'll go there and have a go. There was no need to boo at the end. It was not as if we were bad and got beat 3-0."
