Boss wants to keep things simple

The Gills were deservedly beaten 2-0 by the Bantams to suffer their second home defeat in a row and Stimson admitted his side were not at the races."Our performance was nowhere near what we expected; we were poor," he said. "Seven or eight of our players were not firing on anything like they were a few weeks ago."It is very disappointing as it was a good opportunity to get some points and with other games involving teams around us being postponed, we could've taken advantage of that."We didn't and we have just got to get back to basics and not believe anything that people read in the papers about winning promotion or doing this or doing that."The only way you win promotion is to grind results out with most players putting in a six or seven out of 10 and a couple of players getting an eight or nine out of 10."
