Dale boss slams Millers midfielder

Hill closely pursued Taylor and was hopeful of bringing him to the club from Stockport but the player decided to choose the Millers. The move provoked an angry response from Hill, who criticised the player and his agent for being interested only in money. He told the Rochdale Observer: "Jason was a target of ours, a northern-based player who would have been an ideal signing for us and I'm really miffed we've lost out on him."We'd been in communication with him and his agent all week and we were confident he'd be a Rochdale player by Monday - but at the last minute he's gone to Rotherham."The decision is down to one thing and one thing only - money, that's all. It was financially a better offer from Rotherham and it's a monetary issue which has swayed it for agent and player."
