Howe happy with ugly Cherries win

The Cherries were gifted victory via Brett Pitman's inswinging corner, which completely caught out Shrews goalkeeper Luke Daniels, to extend Howe's unbeaten run to four games since he took over the job on a permanent basis. To add to Shrewsbury's woes, Darren Moss was sent off in injury time for kicking out at Pitman.Howe said: "It was not the prettiest game and we never got going but it's good to win when we haven't played well. Against Lincoln we played well and only came out of that with a draw."Our attitude was first class, we have players who would put their head in front of a train and we have to believe that we can still stay up, we have a momentum which we can take forward into the next game."
