McParland happy with four-day haul

The result followed up their home victory over League Two rivals Barnet at the weekend. However, the Scot felt that County could so easily have been celebrating a six-point haul from the two matches after creating several good chances to win at Moss Rose."It is good to take three points at home and a point away but I am a wee bit disappointed it is not six. When we pulled it back through Matty Hamshaw's goal we looked like the team that was going to win it," said McParland."They scored against the run of play but we kept at it, we kept trying to pass it and we battled away. The likes of Myles (Weston), Hammy (Matt Hamshaw) and Jonathan Forte were always a threat."At times we played some really good football. Jamie Clapham hit the crossbar with a great strike. I thought it was in all the way. It was worthy of a goal and we could have won it in the end."But you are always pleased with a point when you come to Macclesfield. They are a hard physical side and always present a challenge on what was a firm bouncy pitch."
