Llewellyn eager to impress

Midfielder Llewellyn initially struggled to settle after joining the League Two outfit from Wrexham last summer, but is now determined to hang on to his place in the side.He told the Grimsby Telegraph: "I was just glad to get out on the pitch. It's been quite frustrating really."I found it hard to settle at the beginning and I've been trying to find my form."The gaffer showed his faith in me by putting me in the team. It would have been nice to be on the winning team but, hopefully, I'll start a few more games now and show the fans what I can do."I've spoken to him [Newell] a few times and he says I'm part of his plans. But especially now I'm 29, like any player, I need to be playing games. I'm grateful I had my chance against Bury and, hopefully, I'll get a few more."
