Saddlers spirit lifts Hutchings

The Saddlers took the lead before giving away an own goal. A poor clearance by goalkeeper Clayton Ince led directly to Pools' second, but substitute Sam Williams ensured Walsall gained a point with eight minutes remaining."We did it the hard way," said Hutchings. "But we're all pleased with a point after a game like that."It was a test of character for us after giving away two soft goals, but we passed it well and really we might have won the game in the end."
