Hibbitt backs Saddlers manager

Then Saddlers boss Kenny Hibbitt signed Hutchings from Huddersfield back in 1990 before also snapping up Martin O'Connor - now the club's assistant manager - on loan from Crystal Palace three years later.Fast forward almost two decades and the pair are now enjoying a promising start to their tenure at the Banks's Stadium, and Hibbitt would love to see them succeed."Chris is a great football guy who has had a few knock-backs in his career but he has fantastic experience and enthusiasm," he told the club's official website."I felt that the club needed someone who had feeling and affection for the place and in Chris and Martin O'Connor they have certainly got that."Ultimately they will judged on results, as all managers are, but they have started well and I know that between them they will get the club moving in the right direction once more."
