Ryan Babel was once fined two weeks’ wages by Rafa Benitez for tweeting that he’d been dropped for a game against Stoke. If Benitez was still his manager, he wouldn’t be too happy with what Babel’s tweeted now.
Benitez on his way to Real? He will make Ronaldo a great defender…

Maybe Babel is still holding a bit of a grudge, or maybe he’s just echoing the sentiments of many other fans and pundits – is Rafa Benitez really the manager that Real Madrid want?
Imagine sacking Carlo Ancelotti for Rafa Benitez. That's like sacking Jose Mourinho for Sam Allardyce.

Rafa Benitez confirms he'll leave Napoli. Next stop Real Madrid? As much as I respect/rate his record, that would be a strange appointment

As well as Benitez has done at the clubs he’s been at, his teams aren’t necessarily associated with the free-flowing, exciting football you expect from Los Blancos.
Solidity and steel however, is a different matter.
Napoli: Rafa Benitez’s side have lost back to back Serie A matches just twice in the two seasons he’s been in charge

Still though, the above wasn’t all Babel had to say about Benitez. It seems he is still holding a grudge after all.
U don't understand lol… I could fill your timelines with lots of stories what i've experienced…
— Ryan Babel (@Ryanbabel) May 28, 2015
I guess i have to wait when i officially retire to tell them in my book…
— Ryan Babel (@Ryanbabel) May 28, 2015
Not that i was planning to write one but i know some ppl who will convince me doing that… Lol
— Ryan Babel (@Ryanbabel) May 28, 2015
Oh and for the record… Cause i see already see ppl take my comments the wrong way…
— Ryan Babel (@Ryanbabel) May 28, 2015
I'm not saying he is a bad manager… He's actually tactically one of the best… I'm talking about the person behind closed doors
— Ryan Babel (@Ryanbabel) May 28, 2015
We’re sure Rafa’s really upset. That Ronaldo comment might hurt a bit though…
