Byrne honoured by Wembley chance

The 26-year-old led his charges to a 3-0 aggregate triumph over Rotherham in the Northern Area final earlier this week. And Byrne cannot wait to make his maiden appearance on English football's most famous turf.He told the club's official site: "It's a great honour to captain your side to Wembley and I'm struggling to find the words to describe the feeling."I've never been to Wembley as a player, I've only been there once and that was to see the Division One Play-Off Final between Sunderland and Charlton which ended 4-4 back in 1998."It was fantastic to share it with the supporters after the game - luckily I've had quite a few of those moments because I've been involved in two promotions here. It means a lot though."
