Davies reveals passport problems

The 23-year-old made his Seagulls debut and scored against Peterborough on Tuesday as he was unable to join his national side for the friendly clash. And while he is determined to earn another opportunity with Wales, Davies admits his priority is keeping Brighton afloat in League One.He told the Brighton Argus: "If I'd had the passport, I would have had no reason to pull out. I didn't have one so they let me play here."First and foremost I've just got to concentrate on Brighton at the moment."We're in a sticky situation down near the bottom. Hopefully I can contribute to getting us out of this situation. If a Wales call-up happens, it's a bonus."
