Ibe pulls out of England U20 squad

Liverpool's Jordon Ibe has withdrawn from the England Under-20s squad due to a recurring knee injury.The 19-year-old has been one of few bright points in a frustrating season at Anfield, impressing since returning from a loan spell with Derby.Ibe was last week rewarded with a new and improved five-year contract, having made 14 appearances for the Reds in all competitions since the turn of the year.That form saw the winger included in the England Under-20s squad heading to the Toulon Tournament this summer, although the Football Association has now announced his withdrawal."Derby County forward Kwame Thomas has been called up to the England Under-20s squad to replace Jordon Ibe," a statement on www.thefa.com read."The Liverpool youngster has been forced to withdraw from the Young Lions party that will travel to the Toulon Tournament with a recurring knee injury."The Young Lions will compete in Group B in Toulon, alongside China, Ivory Coast, Mexico and Morocco.
