Bolton boss Owen Coyle slams Manchester United's Nemanja Vidic

Bolton manager Owen Coyle last night blasted Manchester Uniteddefender Nemanja Vidic for the challenge which left Johan Elmanderneeding five stitches in a head wound. Vidic and Elmander clashed in a second-half aerial challenge andthe Swede was forced off despite having treatment on the pitch. The challenge went unpunished by referee Martin Atkinson and Coylesaid: 'I am not looking to make excuses but anyone who has seen itknows it was a terrible challenge. I can only assume the referee didn'tsee it. 'Vidic caught him with an elbow. There was blood pouring from the wound.'
