Radamel Falcao penned a rather emotional goodbye to Manchester United

Radamel Falcao thanked Manchester United supporters as he bade them farewell following his unsuccessful loan spell at Old Trafford. “I wanna thank Manchester United and all its fans for every word and gesture of support they gave me in every match,” the striker wrote underneath a picture of him celebrating in an United shirt. “I’ll never forget it!!” Been a pleasure, @FALCAO. You'll be missed. Wish you all the very best of luck at Monaco & wherever you choose to play next! #ElTigre #MUFC — Jamie Scoins (@JamieScoins) May 25, 2015 @FALCAO I feel awful it didn’t work out. You tried so hard. I hope you prove the doubters wrong. You are a world class player. Thank you! — Ó™opdnÓ™uo (@oneupdoe) May 25, 2015 United thought they had pulled off one of the deals of the season last summer when they signed Falcao on a season-long loan from Monaco. The forward was regarded as one of the most deadly marksmen in Europe after prolific spells at Porto, Atletico Madrid and Monaco, but has struggled right from the start of his loan spell at United. Eight months on, the club decided against signing the striker on a permanent basis after he scored just four goals in 29 appearances.
