Football 'drug' gives Alex boss fix

Paul Hayes had put the Iron ahead before Michael O'Connor levelled for Crewe from the penalty spot. But Crewe looked to have shot themselves in the foot when Danny O'Donnell put the ball in his own net until Donaldson popped up to equalise again. And O'Donnell was in the right place at the right time to stab home the winner in injury time - the perfect end to new Crewe boss Thordarson's debut game at the helm.Thordarson said: "At times I thought my heart was coming out of my chest but this game seems to be a drug that I am addicted to and it was great to back."We started the game well and it was excitement and action for the whole of the 90 minutes. I changed the shape and formation at half-time and decided to go for it and it paid off as we scored three goals and won the game."
