Mawene gunning for play-off spot

Sixth-placed Lilywhites have been hovering around the promotion picture all season but they have not won in their last four outings.However last weekend's goalless draw at high-flying Reading hinted at their quality and Mawene is remaining upbeat.The French centre-back said: "There are loads of games to be played and we are still in the play-offs and we want to remain where we are and hang on to that."It's in our hands so we have to remain confident and positive for the rest of the season."
