Taylor happy with back-seat role

The former Hornets boss has joined the club's board on an advisory basis and is adamant he will not have any say in the running of Brendan Rodgers' side.He said: "I've come back as a non-executive director. I've been asked to come back in that role and the reason I've done that is that I'm crackers and I've got a love for the club."I was general manager before which I have to say I didn't enjoy. Poor old Kenny Jackett was the manager where a lot of people in the stand thought Graham Taylor was the manager and I don't want that to repeat itself - I want people to understand that is not what I'm back for."The only way that they will understand it is when, after two or three years, it hasn't happened."
