Hornets terminate Ashikodi contract

Ashikodi, who signed from Rangers in January 2007, has only made three appearances for the Hornets' first-team.He scored in his only start for the club, which came in a 4-1 victory over Stockport in the FA Cup fourth round before the 21-year-old spent time on loan at Bradford, Swindon and Hereford.Ashikodi departed Vicarage Road before Monday's 5pm transfer deadline and becomes a free agent with immediate effect.
