Rams boss still wary of drop threat

The Derby boss saw his side climb to 16th in the Championship and open up a six-point gap over the bottom three with a 4-1 home victory over Blackpool on Wednesday night. It was Derby's third straight league win and Clough said: "Looking at other results in recent weeks, if we had not got those three wins in a row it would have been a very sticky situation."The Championship is a very tight and competitive league and we have still got a lot of work to do - a long way to go. But the win against Blackpool is a good start."We can play better and I suppose it is a good sign but we won't get away with it every week because Blackpool were extremely resilient and stubborn."Everyone looks from the outside and thinks 'Derby are going well', but this game was much tighter than the scoreline suggests."
