Hinds keen to extend Owls stay

Hinds put a six-month layoff due to a fractured leg and ankle damage behind him and made his return against Barnsley on Tuesday. But with his contract set to expire in the summer, Hinds is keen to make up for lost time and secure his long-term future with his boyhood club.He told the Sheffield Star: "We haven't talked about a new deal yet; it was all about me getting back, first; that's been my main goal."Now it's a case of looking towards the next goal and seeing what happens. I'd love to stay. It's a fantastic club. When you're playing in big games with the crowd behind you, that's what it's all about. ."I'm playing for the club I love. I think any footballer would want to play for the club he has always supported - I've been fortunate. I want it to continue for as long as possible."
