Davies receives Earnshaw praise

The Welsh international played under Davies at Derby and is thoroughly enjoying his second spell in the Scotsman's squad.He told the club's official website: "Working with the gaffer is good. He's a motivator and gets around all the players. The training is a lot more intense and more detailed and I think it has helped."It's normal for me because I knew what to expect from working with him at Derby but you can see how well the rest of the lads have responded because we've won games."To be fair to the gaffer, he told us all - the first team squad and reserves - that we all had a clean slate and were starting afresh."He's challenged those of us who were in possession of places in the first team to play well enough to keep hold of our shirts and told those players not in the side to do their utmost to get a starting role."
