Trotters praise faithful fans

Wanderers introduced a range of measures this season to combat the credit crunch including cutting ticket prices, introducing a 'fan zone' in one of their suites on match days and offering free programmes and flags for certain games. As a result, the club have reported an 8.24% increase in their crowds this season, the largest in the Barclays Premier League.Commercial director Gareth Moores said: "It's clear that the economy is taking its toll but the supporters have come out in great number and got behind the team."It is amazing when you consider times are so tough, and we're working hard with the supporters to make sure we can provide as much value as we can."
